In the Microcosm of Fiction, the World Makes Sense.

For me, fiction is a way to make sense of this confusing world. I think I learned more, and better values from the books I read then from my parents or grandparents. These books taught me to respect other people for the most part, but to raise hell when you have to, that it’s possible to fight evil and win. They taught me that the world does have hope. That people can be brave and do the right thing, even when it’s difficult. When the real world was wild and crazy, books, the good books were tight, logical and structured.

They made the world make sense.
